Concrete Finisher/ Laborer Job Description

Summary: Perform assigned tasks involving physical labor.

Qualifications required:  GED/High School Diploma

Qualifications desired:  Work history requiring physical labor.

Essential functions and responsibilities:  Adhere to all company policies while employed.  Perform all other duties as assigned by Foreman/Superintendent/Manager.

Job Competencies: Ability to receive and execute verbal directions. Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely. Strong sense of urgency. Consistently exhibit work traits including dependability, reliability, personal responsibility, timeliness, accountability, and initiative to do whatever are needed to meet company goals.

Physical demands: Lift heavy objects, up to 100 lbs. Sit or stand for long periods of time. Good dexterity of two or more limbs (for example, fingers, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while sitting or standing. Specialized protective and safety equipment as needed.

Work environment: Regular work schedules, however overtime may be required if necessary to complete projects including on-call work. Travel including overnight and out-of-state. Works outside in inclement weather including extreme heat and extreme cold.
